Pics of the Week – Week 34 (Part Two)

The following photos were taken on Friday 20th June.

As you can see, we’re in the final throws of the redevelopment and progress seems to be at quite a pace! The photos were taken by Dave Clark from John Turner Construction Ltd.

The statues are back inside St Marie’s. This view (from the Organ Loft) also shows the offices on the left hand side of the building.

  1. What is it going to be? A church, drop in centre, weddings funerals, place for the unfortunate homeless

    • Hi Frances. Thanks for getting in touch. The building will have two purposes going forwards. One is to be office space for Halton & St Helens VCA, a charity which provides support for smaller voluntary organisations. Secondly, the building will be a heritage centre which pays tribute to St Marie’s and the role the church played in the lives of local people. It is no longer a place of worship. Many thanks. Matthew
