Time for another snapshot of Halton & St Helens VCA’s Redevelopment of St Marie’s Church. These photos were taken by Dave Clark from John Turner Construction Ltd.

The scaffolding has come down on the Organ/Bell Tower end of the Church.
We used a Mobile Elevating Working Platform to provide access to both sides of the roof when installing lightning protection and rebidding the ridge tiles to the high level roof. Notice the steep pitch of this roof (60 degrees)
The gates have been restored (shot blasted and various metal repairs, then repainted). They will be permanently shut. The entrance into the building will be via the car park on the other side.
